As a wheelchair user I was surprised and delighted to see a driving experience company who were willing to try to cater for disabled clients, its very rare from my experience. Having been bought the gift for Christmas I chose to drive a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari 360 and an Audi R8. I found the welcome to be very friendly and after a short do and don't briefing made our way to the pit area. The hand controls were fitted to the Gallardo so we made our way to the car. Transferring from my chair was relatively straight forward into all of the cars and with a little support from the staff as well I was ready to go. I found the hand controls challenging to start with as they were not the ones I was used to in my own car, but the instructors in the car were helpful and more than patient with me as I found my feet so to speak, and of course the pace then improved. I was given plenty of laps as I settled in with each car and began to push on a little, not scaring anyone though it seems. Swapping cars with a short break between each allowed for a sneaky cup of tea as well.
All in all a great experience, really friendly, pleasant and patient people running the operation and thank you so much to them for thinking of people like myself who would not have otherwise had the opportunity to do this kind of experience. An example to others I would say.
Tip for the day...pick more than one car to go in, as it all seemed to be over so fast even though I was on site for about 2 1/2 hours, time fly's by.
