I have never been a petrol head as some people are, to be honest a car is for getting from A to B, but I have always liked looking at classic luxurious cars, until November the 11th 2016, My two sons had purchased a driving experience day for me and it took for ever for me to decide which Porsche, Ferrari, Aston, Audi to drive, then on the website I saw the E type Jaguar and the Mustang. I chose the E type growing it was the icon of British sports cars, I knew that I would never be able to get to drive one let alone own one, so that was the choice I made. Arriving early on a drizzly day at the event I saw all the smart looking cars and the people tearing around the track, and I thought to myself, I'm not a boy racer and I don't drive fast I will take my time and have a sedate drive around the track savouring the 6 laps for a long as possible. I got into the car the instructor was calm, knowledgeable and explained everything that I need to know, then he ask if I was comfortable and if I was ready in my own time I could go. Gingerly I pulled off, on the slip road then onto the track itself, the instructor giving calm instruction, I could not believe the power and speed the car had at the touch of my foot on the throttle. I am hooked, with each lap I found to be more thrilling and I gained more confidence. I had the most enjoyable day and I am already planning another visit the Mustang next me thinks.... I got out of the car the adrenaline was rushing, I was on a high, and my wife will tell you I had the biggest smile on my face, that has not seen since my two boys were born, I would be first to recommend U-Drive-Cars to everyone , most fun I have had in years the staff from reception, the lady in the snack van, instructors and the photo staff were absolutely fabulous.... sorry to ramble on but I really did have a great time, please feel fee to edit my review as you wish, I also would like to say I am a local radio presenter on Brill1449 and I will be telling all my listeners about my experience, I hope you don't mind but I will be posting my review on facebook
