I bought the toothbrush ages ago when my Sonicare stopped working.
This seems a much more simplistic design, but I definitely prefer it.
I've had 5 or 6 Sonicare brushes, but the heads seem to vibrate off the metal pin after a while.
Also the metal pin eventually wears out whatever damper configuration holds it in place.
The Spotlight also stays cleaner as no rubber bits, mine still looks brand new.
