I love the idea of an eco friendly mattress and was excited to get it. Love the idea of being able to change the firmness of the mattress too. We have had the mattress for two years now. My initial reaction was that it felt “wobbly” like there was less support than our old mattress. I got used to that feeling after some time. Unfortunately for both myself and my husband we have never found the mattress really comfortable. Since changing from a memory foam mattress we have both suffered with shoulder and back complaints, no matter which configuration of the mattresses we chose, and have both being getting physio. (We are both fit and have healthy weight.) My husband noticed (as he travels with work and therefore sleeps in other beds frequently) that the cause of his back problems is actually the Una mattress. Whenever he sleeps on a different bed the pain goes away. It’s such a shame but we are going to have to get a new mattress, a decision we should have made much earlier but it was a hard one to make as my motivation to buy Una is the reduced impact to the environment. Having two mattresses within 2 years is absolutely not we believe in :(
