I visited the Staines branch on 9th April with a totally flat tyre, hobbled there at 2mph only to see the shutters just coming down - in a panic I still got out and asked where the next best place to go was and the young man then went about enquiring on my spare tyre, that he would fit it for me. We then discovered my locking wheel nut key didn't fit all tyres and again, instead of sending me home, he, and I believe the manager, then took about breaking the nuts of with hammers and various implements..I hasten to add this was past closing time, it was pouring with rain and they didn't have to do it. They managed to fit my spare, temporary tyre and got me on the road on a Saturday afternoon with a new tyre ordered for me for Monday morning - where I returned and had it fitted all by 9:00am. Cant fault this service, if nothing else it restored my faith in humanity :) Wont go anywhere else. Id also like to add I live on the same road as a Kwik-Fit branch!!! Universal is a 10 minute drive away from me which I think tells you how much I rate Universal!
