I went to my local branch in Chelmsford and was served by Paul I think it was. I needed tracking for my second hand car I just purchased (Mazda MX5 1995) as it had a very odd steering angle.. I asked for the normal front wheel tracking that I have always had done on previous cars but Paul politely informed me that it is crucial the MX5 has a 4 wheel track as the rears are adjustable on this vehicle too, to only align the front wheels could make it even worse (Crabbing). Unfortunately the Chelmsford branch's 4 wheel tracking system was being repaired at the time so Paul could not carry out the proper 4 wheel tracking work and refused to do half the job as it wont help me(He could of just not told me and still got my money!) with my permission he suggested other local branches. He checked with his colleague Joe at the Thurrock branch who said he can fit me in on the same day. I made my way to Thurrock and Joe immediately knew who I was and what I wanted. Within a few minutes he was personally looking over my vehicle on the ramp with a colleague oh his who was very helpful too. Joe explained the tracking was very poorly set up (likely due to past owners incorrectly tracking just the front wheels. I know why now! thanks to Paul) Joe really treated me with respect and explained everything to me, the job ended up taking longer than usual due to some seized parts but worked until the job was done. Him and his staff's service was 10/10. I left very happy. Do yourself a favor and stick with Universal Tyres/Autocentres. I have finally found the garage/s I will keep going back to.
