I ordered a t-shirt as a birthday gift on July 9th and received an approximate shipping date. About a week after the order it was showing on back order with a new shipping date of 7/14 and the same thing happened again with a later shipping date. I called to cancel since it wouldn't be here in time. Customer service said it was already in the process of cancellation so I thought there was just an issue so no big deal. I bought it elsewhere. So, to my great surprise I receive an email on 7/31 that it has shipped. I called back and asked why did a cancelled order ship. She said it was not approved. I am just confused at this point since they were cancelling it before I even called. I ask her can I just return to sender she says yes, but when I go online the item says it can't be returned. So, I will update if I have an issue with the return and my money refunded. Company should be transparent about products. If they are on backorder, you should know before you order it and not keep getting delays. When you call to cancel, it should be canceled. You should not get a surprise email stating it has shipped. I have never in my life had this kind of experience. Also, the text option to contact the company didn't even work. They never responded or called. I just received a Thank you for contacting... text. Also, live chat isn't really live chat and was not helpful at all.
