This part required modification to install on my 2024 MK8 GOLF R
Per the discription it says no modification required for MK8 GOLF R.
"The Billet Gear Shift Knob fits the following cars with no modifications:
> VW Golf 8 2020+
> VW Golf 7 & 7.5 2013-2020
> VW Passat B8 2015+
> VW Arteon 2017+ "
The Gear Shift Knob required me to cut 2 inches off the vehicle's gearlever shaft, which was a pain and cost more labor to do.
Please update this on your website otherwise other people would run into this hindrance.
After lots of time spent on modifing to fit, the knob looks and feels great.
