Hello AllHudson Reed Mixer taps Hello All, i have just asked Hudson Reed why my heavy chrome tapheads have started to bobble/pitting after only 2 years, The tap housing /body is fine. I use mentholated spirit to clean the taps, probably once every 2 months, They said this will impair the chrome and it is not warranted. We are so dissapointed after spending £160 plus on this inferior product. We are disappointed in the quality, a heavy tap with a poor chrome finish, I will not be purchasing their products again despite being American. Perhaps they should use the same chroming technics used by Harley Davidson.... In all very disappointed in the product and the technical support services who have kicked us into touch..
