LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER 1 STAR!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND GO ELSE WHERE... Have been leasing a truck for longer than expected. Initially no problems from the beginning until of course I had to hand it back. The truck itself is in great condition with full-service history and well under the mileage so no fines were imposed by the leasing/finance company. The issue was with Vanarama/ Auto Trader Group. I had the truck booked in for collection as my new VW was nearly ready for collection (from the VW dealers). On the day of collection which I book off so obviously did not earn any money no one showed up. I rang up and after a few emails Vanarama/ Auto Trader Group admitted an error occurred on their side after listening to the recorded phone calls. I then had to rebook the appointment which meant cancelling a boiler installation as my new truck was ready for collection and I had one space for one vehicle where I live. This left me out of pocket for more than £1000 as I had to pay the wages of my employees for the day. Vanarama/ Auto Trader Group take zero reasonability when it comes to matters like these and offer zero compensation. I would strongly advise against dealing with this company as they totally disregard the loyalty of the very thing that allows them to operate as a business, their customers. I hope this feedback allows whoever reads it to think twice and check out other companies.
