What WERE 5 decades ago until of late, exemplary products & after care. Note past tense... This, to advise 5 decades on, I still have my, as new, FORCE TEN T E N T, with ALLOY POLES. Ditto. My original Vango minus 25 degrees, centigrade bag having developed cold spots, in British Columbias/Alberta, Canadas, Rocky Mountains, immediately replaced, without question, at no extra charge as since used in Rockies, Bolovian Andes, Iceland & Kamyatka Siberia. Blacks of Greenock as they WERE then extremely receptive & responsive. However. It is with extreme lamentable regret, I have to advise, they have gone to hell. Vango, since having become, clueless, useless, unreceptive & unresponsive. Were it not for subsequent in flight baggage restrictions,I should not have foolishly purchased on line a deplorable Vango Banshee 200. It being far to short & low. No upper roof vent. Worse than useless, fibre glass poles, shattered within a couple of weeks. Ironically, not in New Zealands, Southern Island/Alps. But British Isles, Northwest Highlands. Given which, those I hither too extolled & recommended to everyone & anyone, can no longer be bothered...I can't ever again be bothered to ever again, re-purchase from such deplorables.
