When I was surfing around on the internet for sturdy, quality bike racks I did the usual examining of other bike racks, looking at reviews, specs etc… but nothing caught my attention more than the velocirax. Not only does it look incredible but it is very sturdy (we loaded 5 e-bikes with it; batteries included). It hauls heavy loads without a problem. The assembly is very simple and learning how to operate it is easy. You might have to read the instructions a few times on how to raise lower and lock the bike rack, but then it’s in your memory. A great feature they have integrated in the hitch arm is a bolt, when tightened it creates pressure on the inside of your car hitch and eliminates like 97% of movement, i.e. your bikes aren’t flopping all over the place; even on bumpy roads. Now for my whining. The only thing that is bit of a hassle is trying to carry and load it on your vehicle by yourself, as it is heavy. The reason for that is there is not really anywhere a good place to grasp it and carry it by yourself. With two people it’s a piece of cake. Other than that minor complaint it’s an awesome bike rack and I would totally buy again. P.S. I have an 5x velocirax
