I purchased an electric weed burner. It was delivered promptly and dealt effectively with shallow-rooted weeds on a gravelled driveway. With deep-rooted weeds like well-established dandelions, the very hot air-blast destroyed the leaves OK but didn't kill the weeds' roots which enabled the weeds to recover after a period. The instructions are clear and helpful and the burner is easy to use. It's a good alternative to the use of chemical weedkillers though the process is not speedy if the weeds are numerous over a substantial area.
