I went to assigned store and was told to leave my bag behind a curtained area that already had other luggage. But was not given the bag seal/tags. When I requested them for some extra peace of mind (first time using the service), I was given a big argument from the shopkeeper that it wasn’t necessary. It was very off putting since it’s detailed in the confirmation email as standard practice. He eventually gave me the tags but only after making me feel bad for wanting them. He even said if I don’t feel comfortable without the tags to not even leave my bag there. Not very reassuring when I was going to an event at TD Garden and couldn’t bring my bag. If he hadn’t already made me late for the game with the whole tag debate I would have cancelled and tried to find somewhere else. Everything was fine when I went back after the game, bag was in same area with tags. So I appreciate the Vertoe service but this shopkeeper was very off putting and did not instill very much confidence in the service. I was very nervous to leave my bag there.
