This service is definitely a necessity in a city like Washington DC. I am so glad we found it! I really didn't know what to expect when I dropped off our three small bags (purse, camera bag, and small tote). We put our tags on them and took pictures as instructed. Then the owner told us to put them in a room that had the door wide open--not locked up in a cabinet or hidden or anything. I was not comfortable with this, but left them because we had no choice. Thank goodness all of our stuff was in tact when we returned to pick them up a few hours later. I would think that a secure holding area would be a requirement in order to be a Vertoe location.
