Just started trying to resolve a straight forward manufacturing fault but already it appears VP have all their business model set up to fob off, spend effort on getting sales and not remedying many issues. The business rolls on etc. Renzo Shower head 18months old max has split along its seam joint. Very slim unit so unlikely welded probably just pressed but not sure yet. Regardless it has split just under usual pressure from the combi boiler having pumped it upstairs so under reduced pressure. Not fit for purpose. Customer Service unavailable by phone. Reams of hurdles with FAQ and pages of BOT chat before any human chat interaction. Luckily the previous owner of the house has receipts so the cannot transfer warranty line didn't stick. It'll be interesting to see if they deal with this as the write ups on them suck. They can view the purchase from the postcode and it's not a consumable that failed but the carcase so you might think they may just see that as the fail that it is and take responsibility. Interesting that the guarantees list 5 years for Mode products but underneath the detailed list excludes all but the kitchen sink. No pun intended. Let's see how this pans out!! Will this be removed?
