My husband and I enjoyed the cruise but were disappointed that each time we arrived at Amsterdam we were unable to walk into the city because we were berthed miles out in the commercial harbour. This was particularly annoying on the last day when we did not leave the ship until 2.15pm. On the whole we liked the places we visited but some places there was not enough of interest for the guides to show us. The stop to meet local residents in their homes was just away of filling in the time.
The ship, the staff and the food were all excellent.
