All you hear from them is "It's our policy" which is of no help whatsoever. The alternative Villas they suggested were more than twice the price of what we paid. No help towards the cost of this was offered as it's there policy just to refund. So we are hung out to dry by Villa Plus.When speaking to Jessica she constantly interrupted and wouldn't listen. The standard of the Villas has dropped over the years and I thought that given the pandemic situation they would have tried really hard to get as many positive reviews as they could. For instance earlier this year when in one of their villas in Portugal they wouldn't even provide bin bags. How many people take bin bags on holiday. All the small things that used to be provided are no longer available unless you buy a seriously overpriced welcome pack. Cutting corners is one thing but obliterating the services that were previously available is totally wrong. All in the name of profit and not having any duty of care for the client. Perhaps they should rename themselves as Villa Minus. My husband is waiting for a phone call from Alex who I hope will have discussed our situation with her manager.
