Rated 1 out of 5 stars Don’t buy mobile phones from Vinted Uk. Don’t buy electronics from Vinted Uk. I have bought and sold clothes and that service was ok. Then my adult son wanted a newish Samsung phone. So he checked out Vinted mobiles. Big mistake. Vinted offer a priced service to check the phone before you buy it and my son bought that service. Behold the phone was broken from the minute it arrived. As Vinted had garantied its quality and that it worked he thought it must work. Then he sent it of to an recognised independent Samsung repair company- and the phone is dead - has been and always will be. Now you think that Vinted will help my son get his £250 back! No as it’s a claim against the seller even when they garantied that the phone was functional and 💯 % working. They will do: Nothing. So he is now out of pocket with £250 and he just left Uni and this was his own first buy with his own first pay check. I wouldn’t touch any phones or electronics from Vinted and I would absolutely not trust their check up service on their stuff and their garantied that these things really work as it’s not worth the paper it’s written on! It will just give you fake information and fake comfort to buy the stuff that can most likely be broken! And you then buy it in good faith. Big mistake! If you want to take a chance and maybe it will work? phone etc, by all mean try - but just know this: Vinted won’t do a thing to help you if the seller is dishonest and sells you a broken phone!
