Truly awful experience and still ongoing. Having to go to small claims court. Sold a phone on vinted for £590. Yes my own fault in that respect. However buyer never picked up the phone from the shop so it was meant to be retuned. Tracking shows it’s being returned but this hasn’t changed in 7 weeks and counting. I’ve contacted yodel (who are appalling) . Vinted told me initially to wait 20 days and I’d get £590 compensation. Then I was told to wait 25 business days. Then I was told they’d need to investigate (not sure what there is to investigate as tracking shows it’s still being returned). Obviously it’s not as it’s now approaching 8 weeks. They told me 5 days. I contacted after 7 days as they couldn’t be bothered to reschedule out. Told me they’re still investigating. So I’ve given up. I’ve been lied to that many times and changing of stories. Yet the buyer has their money back. Even potentially the phone which is why it hasn’t come back to me. Vinted customer service have always been poor but this is just total disregard.
