I had a theatre and meal experience given to me and my partner. We booked up and we're looking forward to our weekend. 2 days after booking we were informed by virgin that the restaurant we had booked would be under going renovations at the time we are booked for, I cannot believe that virgin did not know about this at the time of booking as the restaurant is at a big London hotel and we booked only 4 weeks before going. Virgin offered us alternative restaurants, but this took several phone calls at my expense for which they were not bothered about in the slightest. I found the staff I dealt with quiet rude and unhelpful with regards to this problem, and there was no offer of the slightest good will gesture for the inconvenience cause.
We received this as a gift from a family member which was lovely, unfortunately the whole inconvenience of the booking process has spoilt a lovely gesture. I certainly would not buy a virgin experience for anybody, I would look for an alternative company.
