Was given a voucher to use at Mercure hotels for my 40th birthday. We stayed at Mercure Leeds, hotel was very tired and needed updated over 10 minutes waiting to check in was told we could upgrade as hotel was full, although place apperaed empty! Tried to get a drink at the bar pressed bell 3 times before anyone came out. Tried to order a taxi to town, again no one around and i resorted in phoning the reception to get attention! Very poor customer service and value for money, i am surprised Virgin are associated with this hotel!
