Chapel Down wine tour with dinner and fizz:
We arrived in the afternoon and went straight out to join the tour. We saw the different types of vines and were told about the growing process. Then we went into the winery to see the tanks and presses. Finally we saw the barrels and were explained about the bottling process.
We then went to the shop for our wine tasting which was a very generous sample of many of the wines on offer and given a lovely gift.
To finish off we had a lovely 3 course meal with fizz in the restaurant.
An excellent day out!
