Had a lovely Champagne Afternoon Tea to celebrate my 50th birthday. This was noted on the system however I wasn't made to feel special at all. Ok for me, but if I was bringing someone else for their birthday, I'd have been disappointed that they didn't even have a plate with happy birthday written on it or birthday acknowledged. Staff were not very attentive, although once you managed to locate someone anything you asked for was bought out with no problems. We had some extra sandwiches and another pot of tea. We were able to choose a slice of cake from the cake trolley and this was wrapped for us to take home. I also had a note on the booking for no fish due to an allergy but when the sandwiches arrived, we had salmon. These were removed once I informed them again but they don't seem to take note of any requests or allergies even though they ask you when you book. No service charge was added as the voucher covered this apparently.
