Hi everyone: I just got a threatening text message from some guy, Mark Wilson, IP Paralegal at Vista Logos. I paid for a cute but simple logo for my tiny Etsy shop about 2 years ago. I thought everything was fine and I have been using it for 2 years or so, no issues. Out of the blue I get a threatening text message, stating that my "rights have expired and if found using this can be subject to legal consequences." Including apparently $75,000 for some sort of infringement penalty. I have never heard of this, it sounds like a scam to get money. The text messages are threatening legal action, so I texted send me a document by mail. No response. Sounds like a greedy company trying to scam me for money. I am sorry I ever used them. Please let this be a warning, don't use them! Thanks for reading.
