Oscar Neo DA 1000 Ultem Tough Juicer We've been using this juicer for over a month now and are delighted with it. Many years ago I bought a centrifugal juicer which was assigned to gather dust after being used about 5 times - the reason for that was it was such a hassle to use / clean. The reason why we're using Oscar Neo daily is that: Cold press juicing produces (IMHO) a superior drink with virtually no solids in the liquid and tastes really good. I also understand centrifugal extract juice more gently resulting in technical benefits of cold press over centrifugal juicing. The other reason for daily use is that it is really easy to setup, use and clean. It really does only takes a couple of minutes to disassemble and clean with no nooks and crannies for waste solids to hide. It has a pleasing 'solid' feel, the 3 bits all slot and lock together in an easy way, it has a relatively small footprint and is easy carry - a handy carrying handle rests flush in the body of the juicer when not being carried. Using it I get the sense that much thought / time has gone into getting to the simplest design for the function performed. I've not used any of the non-juicing capability (yet) - and this maybe where the variable pressure adjuster has benefit as I have only used the juicer with the pressure option set to max - but have juiced a range of leafy and root veggies and fresh fruit, all of which it handles with no complaint. I was recommended this juicer by a friend who has been using the predecessor model more or less daily for 10+years and (as the review might suggest) am very happy with the advice.
