I’ve honestly never written a review on here but I’m literally sat here crying out of frustration. I just don’t understand how they can treat me like this? I had a contract through Vodafone previously When I lost my phone and needed a replacement. I foolishly took out a contract with them again. I can’t tell you how stressful this whole situation has been. I don’t know what more I can do now other than just pay off the 18 months left on my contract and just switch to another network. I switched banks and it took 4 weeks to receive my bank card so I was cut off which is fair enough. After a few months I owed them £255.72 which seemed high but to be honest, I just wanted to be able to use my phone again. I made the payment by BACS (bank transfer) on the 17th September. I called vodafone to inform them & they took the restriction off. The next day they put the restriction on again. I called 191 and the advisor said he was reporting the last person I’d spoken to as I hadn’t paid. I work in an office. BACS payments go in straight away. The next day, the next advisor I spoke to said it takes 10 working days. Right okay. Called complaints a week later and even though I was very frustrated and angry at the situation, spoke to him politely and asked what I should do? I said that I had paid by BACS. He replied “what?”. So I said “BACS”. He said “never heard of it. Go to a vodafone store”. Wow. That’s their complaints department. I drove to my nearest vodafone store, showed her my bank statement, updated my records and told me to call vodafone. I called them and said “Are my payments all up to date now?” And the advisor said that they were to which I was very relieved and could finally move on from the situation. Until the next day, when I received a text message to say that I still haven’t paid my bill and they were restricting my services. I called vodafone free from my phone, again, and the advisor apologised and said it was a mistake - he removed the restriction, again. It doesn’t end there. I wish it did. They’ve only gone and put the restriction on again. I can’t even call 191 this time. I spoke to a lady on web chat (through my WiFi) and she apologised and said that she would take the restriction off. She hasn’t. I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve never experienced customer service like this before. I’m so frustrated and they are literally the worst network provider ever. I’ve been with o2, t mobile, Orange, and since then EE as well. I don’t recommend them at all. I’m leaving them and I’m going to another network provider. This is just unnecessary stress and I can’t trust a word they say to me because they just let me down over and over again.
