I joined Vodafone because I need a phone I’m phone company for the duration of my holiday. This is the worst most annoying phone service I have ever had.
A billion texts a day asking me to top up, or here’s a new deal, or blah blah blah. STOP! No one needs this and I’m not going to buy something just because you tell me to. I’m less likely to do it to be honest.
It also requires you to either update your software or download settings to use data. Like what?! No phone company has ever had that happen to me before. Even Vodafone in my country has good enough tech to just do this automatically. This is ridiculous. Updating my phone should not impact on your ability to provide me with data.
It took an age to buy a data yesterday bundle yesterday. I’m talking hours. Topped up via phone call and credit card, which took far too long and tried to up sell three times, got a confirmation text of balance, tried to buy the desired bundle which was mentioned in the confirmation text, got told I didn’t have credit, checked credit, was correct amount, tried to buy the desired bundle, got told I didn’t have credit, repeat over and again.
I literally cannot wait until I am home just so I can use my normal provider who only sends confirmation of top ups and has never tried to up sell me. Like a proper phone company should. Get your act together Vodafone.
