I terminated my already expired agreement to a contract phone giving three months notice. After that time money still went from my account so I called customer service and was assured it was to do with the date and nothing more would be taken from my account. The following month they've taken my money again so I call again and get An assurance that that's it,it was an error and will be returned,it wasn't but yet another months was taken. In between my calls each one was backed with a letter and word for word transcript of the conversation held. After yet a fourth payment was illegally taken from my account I contact my bank to remove the direct debit with immediate effect,I back this by writing and calling vodaphone to tell them I've stopped direct debits as they appear unwilling to close an account four months after an already expired three months notice of termination of that phone, and that came after my contract had already been expire by almost a year! After a few months of nothing I get a letter which I don't open but return, this continues every few months for over a year each letter returned unopened with no longer a customer written across them! Then after o we 18mths of this I get a debt recovery letter but when I try to call vodaphon to tell them where they've gone wrong I keep getting my calls terminated by customer service, they obviously get a lot of these and that's how they handle them, end them! Fine, I contact debt recovery and they say sorry you have to pay then query it with vodafone so I do that,,and it's paid in full.... Wrong, now over five months later I just received another letter from Vodafone which I almost rip up but,I open it. Guess what, yes they want another £11+ off me when my contract ended in 2017 on my birthday as my daughter bought me a new phone, the one I'm now using and with no contract even the internet usage only works out at £10pm due to the bundle I have with O2, I now have two phones, work and private with O2 the former I've had for 18yrs and am on the same £5pm bundle so even two together are cheaper by more than 3/4 of the cost of one Vodafone. And I've never in almost two decades had any issues or problems with O2 + the coverage is absolutely brilliant,no loosing signal at every turn like I got with Vodafone! This is an awful company that care nothing for their customers and only listen to one complaint, even when u try to stop using their phones and give them the required notice in writing by recorded delivery they still keep on and on stealing your money and you hear nothing from them in response to a year of contact and complaints, until you cancel your money going to them, then they wake up. Obviously don't keep records of customer accounts as they repeatedly make the same grave error and repeatedly, even after you paid hundreds more than you owe them, keep tapping you for a bit more and a bit more. They have nil customer service, to constantly terminate a call because it's a complaint tells you exactly what this company are like. Having had non contract phones in the past that were on their network and had.no probs was part of the reason my family picked that contract for me,it gave me WiFi and internet all round without me having to constantly change isp's due to poor or zero connectivity (I live surrounded by woodland so reception can b an issue)! This is the WORST MONEY GRABBING phone co I've ever come across. Don't read their own so called customer reviews, read the real ones, like this. Don't enter a contract with them as you will still be struggling (since 2017) to leave the company who don't give a shot behind! Name happily supplied and more than happy to talk to others about my awful experience which is still ongoing!!!!!
