Joined vodafone 2 months ago and am now desperate to be let out of my contract, in the short time I have been with them they could not have been worse. They are utterly incompetent, negligent and misleading. I phoned up to enquire about phones while in the middle of the move, was offered a slight discount to switch and told it would be easy. I mentioned the move several times and was told it wouldn't be a problem. It was a major problem. 2 months later I have a fraud entry on my credit report, after being left without a phone for weeks during lockdown (they cancelled delivery without saying anything), the phone they have sent me already had a button fall off, I have been misbilled, and the delivery company shows up on different DAYS, to the wrong address, to what I have been told on the phone. I now need to send the phone back and hand over my current to the delivery company, without being able to transfer my phone data over to the new phone. Customer service has been very unhelpful, every time I talk to them something else goes wrong. They will tell me one thing, then something different happens. I don't want to talk to them anymore, I just want to give them the phone back and be let out of my contract. I want one week where I don't need to spend hours on the phone with vodafone. Tempted to counterbill for the time wasted if it would help me out of this contract. Do not choose vodafone. No deal is worth it. 3 will match any deal, provides much better service and is aware of its own internals, i wish I'd never left.
