I needed to replace my kettle, after at LEAST five years of multiple heat-ups every day. The order was submitted right before Christmas, and I was happily surprised to see how quickly it arrived, despite the holiday. Because it turns itself off, this kettle is safer than heating water on stovetop, in case I get distracted. I also find that the long curved spout delivers an accurate stream, and is unlikely to spill when I make pour-over coffee.
