Hello I Am Georgina Duran from México. I was a volunteer at an Elephant Camp in Chang Mai. My volunteer experience in Thailand was absolutely unforgettable. The facilities were excellent, providing a very comfortable environment throughout my stay. The food was exquisite—flavorful and authentic, a true reflection of Thai and Karen cuisine The location itself was incredible. Despite only spending one week there, waking up every morning and seeing nine elephants from my window felt like a dream come true. Taking care of them—whether it was cleaning up after them, feeding them, or walking them each day—gave me not only a deep sense of accomplishment but also a profound connection to nature. Our guide, Viskey, was incredibly attentive and taught us so much about the ecosystem and the local flora. The community living on the farm also made our stay special. They shared their delicious meals with us and even gave us the chance to cook and dine together. After this experience, I’m certain that my future travels will always revolve around serving nature and animals. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to make a meaningful impact while connecting with wildlife.
