Yesterday we had a delivery in sleet and snow. Our driver was a young man, Tom. What a pleasant young man! He insisted on bringing the crates with food bags right to our back door so we did not have to step out into the cold & wet. He asked us if we were keeping safe and well and generally chatted whilst giving us our order and going through the substitutions. It was so nice to engage with a young, articulate and confident person. And what a great ambassador for Waitrose.
