I Hate this product on so many different levels...
First off, it tastes like baking soda water with a slight fruit flavor. I wish ANY review would have stated this. I would never have purchased it if i knew this.
secondly, I’m not sure why but but this Waterdrop makes me extremely sick and nauseous. It’s making my stomach extra acidic which doesn’t sit well after eating and drinking.
I wasn’t sure what was going on because how could a product that tastes like baking soda (a base) make my stomach acidic?.... so I look at the ingredients:
Ingredients state: Citric acid, sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, inulin, natural flavor, acerola powder, green coffee extract, vitamin c, ascorbic acid, stevia leaf extract, pantothenic acid, spirulina extract, vitamin b1.
(please forgive spelling mistakes as Im retyping this from the microscopic font on the physical box)
You can see the very first ingredient is citric acid... and the second ingredient is what I assume is making the water taste like baking soda...
Go figure!
I even tested this to make sure it wasn’t in my head and on the days I drank the Waterdrop... sure enough I threw up... on days I didn’t drink it, I felt fine.
Finally my biggest issue is that they don’t take returns on used products. How would I have known this product would make me sick without trying it?
Plus, even if i didn’t open the package, the customer pays for any return shipping.
So here I am, out $100 in cube drinks that make me sick....
