We had such a lovely time camping. We were on the Coot pitches (pitch 5) and thd location and setting was just perfect 👌. We were right by the river so my husband and children enjoyed lots of fishing. We even had a view of the park so could see the children playing from the tent. Toilets and shower blocks were brilliant compared to other sites we have stayed on.... individual toilets/showers and sinks all in individual units so you can use the toilet, shower and brush your teeth etc all in one place! Underfloor heating was amazing too in the toilet/showers! We used the pool twice whilst there which you need to pre book. Lovely and warm and clean. The staff were all really welcoming and helpful. Couldn't fault anything really... we did enquire about staying an extra night but it was going to cost almost twice what we paid for 2 nights ... that was the only disappointing but really that we didn't have long enough! If we go again which I'm sure we will, we would book 3 nights and get the ferry over to Carlton marshes. Thanks for a great stay!
