Great place to stay for a river based holiday. Hire a boat for a day or a kayak or canoe (or bring your own) Nice quiet spot for fishing too. Take the free ferry across the river and walk 45 mins to Oulton Broad. If you are lucky, you might see some powerboat racing. The site has a small shop and an indoor pool, plus facilities for camping, caravanning, glamping and pods. Best of all are the lodges, with a mix of pet friendly and accessible lodges, most with hot tub. Great place for a quiet getaway. There is also a pub, with good drinks, but limited menu and small portions.
