Just finished a 4 night break at a fantastic venue with great facilities wonderful staff and an idyllic location with something for everyone The centre has a reception with friendly staff always willing to help next to a small, well equipped shop. The bar and restaurant is a wonderful place to spend time after a busy day with great service and varied menu with the quality of food outstanding. The outside seating area is a great place to enjoy the sunset and look out over the marina. There is a heated in door swimming pool which out of season is never over busy which is close to a well equipped children’s play area. There are toilets and shower rooms available with the shower rooms being clean albeit a little tired. Boat hire available from Easter to explore the broads for 1/2 day to multiple day options suitable for couples and small groups with all boats in excellent condition. Cycle hire available close to the water taxi available to take you the short hop across the river where you can take a relatively short walk through Carlton marshes to Oulton Broad approx 3 miles or a longer 7 mile walk to Beccles. Fantastic footpaths through the countryside which is teaming with lots of wildlife from Chinese water deer to a wide variety of birds. We can’t praise the staff highly enough and the facilities available at a little gem of a site and will definitely be returning this year
