I bought my wife a diamond for our 27th anniversary. She tried to put insurance on it through WAX, but WAX didn’t like that the receipt was in my name. They asked her a bunch of questions about our relationship, like we are trying to join a cult or something. I bought the ring for HER….I can’t wear it. It was a gift to HER so she should be able to get insurance on it herself. God forbid others try to get insurance through WAX on things I have gifted to them that are valuable. So we deleted her account and tried to do it under me. However that was a bust too. They want to know my LinkedIn account and/or any social media I might have, as well as where my place of employment. Is this a job recruitment agency or an insurance agency? Isn’t WAX supposed to provide peace of mind for the owner’s in the event something ever happens to their valuables? I served in the Marine Corps over 13 years and that should be that. I know that WAX can do a soft credit pull to see that my finances are in order. I have the appraisal, the receipts, the GIA documentation of the grade, and I can pay the premium so what’s the problem? No I am not a customer because I can’t get past the “gatekeeper”/Business Operations Analyst, Department of Underwriting @ WAX Insurance Services LLC.
(Attaching a screenshot of 1 email so you can see we TRIED to actually BE customers and we’re not just making all this ridiculousness up)
