Wayfairer curated the perfect safari for our family. We were celebrating a special birthday and an anniversary, and they made sure we felt special throughout the trip. Transfers were seamless, everyone we dealt with was cheerful and simply could not do enough for us. We were a party of six, two grandparents, two parents and two teenage boys, and almost all our activities were 'private,' meaning just the six of us in a land cruiser, or dining, or just about anything we did. Only on the balloon ride over the Serengeti did we share conveyance! Of course, we saw tons of animals, including the 'big five.' What we weren't ready for was how close we got to these large, wild and potentially lethal animals. It was truly astounding. I know most everyone returns home from a safari, or river rafting trip, etc., claiming they had the best guide one can imagine. We, of course, are no exception! our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, cheerful, helpful, solicitous, ... Did I miss anything? I think what I appreciate most was how smoothly everything went. We never had to worry or wonder what was happening next, or who was taking us where. Everything was beautifully planned and executed. We could not have been more pleased!
