My experience while working with Chen Immigration Law Associates has not only been excellent, but extremely informative till date. As a postdoc, I started my process of working with them in preparing my i-140 petition. Ms Victoria Chen was absolutely thorough in evaluating my CV and was confident that I should apply through the EB2-NIW route based on my credentials. In the interim period, I waited to improve on my publications and citation statistics. The most important and impressive thing regarding the Chen team is their extreme professionalism. You get a response to all your queries in the most detailed manner within 24 hours (mostly - 95% of the time) or 48 hours (very rare occasions). The team (comprising of Ms Victoria Chen and Ms. Sarah) guided me in going about finding referees, drafting testimonial/reference letters and preparing my i-140 petition letter. They also educated me on the Dos and Do NOTs of the process along the way. Having said that, I also learned that the preparation process itself could be time-consuming and stressful (especially if you're running out of time). Therefore, I would like to emphasize that one should remain strongly committed to the process along the way. More importantly, the Chen team will patiently guide you through all the steps involved. Once my petition was ready, the team was meticulous enough to check if all my documents were in proper order before submitting my petition. I eventually managed to turn in my I-140 Petition through EB2-NIW, based on my credentials. Unfortunately I received a RFE despite the excellent I-140 petition prepared by the Chen team. I've to admit that I was shaken when I received the RFE then. Despite this temporary setback, I was rest assured by the Chen team (Ms. Sunny Chang) that my petition was still meritorious and the RFE issue could be easily fixed. Ms. Sunny Chang and the rest of the team worked extremely hard in helping prepare my responses to the RFE as well. I received an approval within 30 days after turning my RFE response, thanks to the Chen team. I would strongly recommend the Chen Immigration Law Associates to any newbie trying to go about with a EB1/EB2 petition for a green card. The Chen team are extremely experienced and knowledgeable in ensuring that you go about with the process in the most efficient manner.
