After trialling many cat litters I settled on this one and have used it for years. I don't like clumping litters so this being non-clumping is not an issue. An inch or so in a litter tray will easily last a week without smelling and I have two cats so twice the amount of pee. It seems to absorb well and it's rare that I notice a urine smell. I love that it's eco friendly and biodegradable, and the bonus is it's flushable because it's just paper pellets (I'm absolutely not talking about flushing big quantities of it down the loo, but it means you can scoop the poop, give it a shake to get the loose litter off, then flush the poop. The soiled litter should be disposed of in the bin). I have used a cheaper paper based product in a pinch and the urine smell is so noticeable compared to this. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a non-clumping litter.
