The brackets supplied with the LED batten (Q-Line 60W Linear Fitting 1500mm) do not hold the fitting securely if the instructions are followed. One end of the fitting came away and the lamp swung down and hit my wife on the head making her cry. If the brackets are folded outwards so they are almost flat, then they fit comfortably under the outer deeper recess of the fitting. However, I intend to fit an additional safety bracket to be sure. The lamp itself (4000K) is bright when you stare at it, but provides a good working light level for our kitchen and would serve for any interrogation you might wish to consider. The quality of the lamp is otherwise fine (shame it's made in China though) and I've no complaints about the supplier.
