30 seconds after getting of the train at Portsmouth Harbour you walk and find yourself in the Wight Link Terminal. Bright, clean and comfortable. As the boat arrives for departure the efficient staff check you in with their state of art hand held machines. On boarding there there are lots of comfortable chairs inside but I always like to go onto the open top deck unless the weather is bad. The departures are always on time and the crossing quick with lovely view of the harbour and the Island as you approach. On docking at Ryde, a smooth, quick operation and then we leave the boat to start our trip on the Island. FIRST CLASS OPERATION/ SERVICE.
