I moved from Texas to Wisconsin this year. We’ve worn Wildlings as a family for 8 years. I used to buy the minimal version but recently started buying the Resoled versions with wool to suit a new climate. Over the years we’ve found that the split sole doesn’t last through child’s play. The thread and sole wear away under the ball of the foot and the sole comes loose, even after one season. Debri gets in between the rubber sole and fabric once those undercarriage threads wear out. Even with this problem, I wouldn’t trade Wildlings for anything. Your feet have the 2nd largest pores on the body. And wildlings are one of the few companies putting real fabric in their shoes while maintaining the most accurate barefoot feel. We pass down Wildlings to each kid and although they are getting rough looking, they all still perform really well. The only problem is you start to lose some grip after a couple of kids wear them.
