I have been practising Vedic meditation for 7 months now. It is the absolute best compared to some I have tried in the past. It's very easy to practise anywhere you are due to its flexibility. It has benefited me greatly and in the last few months I started noticing its effect especially on my energy levels.
At the beginning of this year I suffered from a burnout syndrome due to a work overload over the last couple of years. The recovery process was slow and it took a good 6 months to get my energy back. I was still tired during the day even after having 9-10 hours sleep at night.
Meditation helped me to find the perfect balance in the amount of hours I sleep daily keeping me still energised during the day. It reduced the amount of hours I sleep and gave me an energy boost during the day. Now instead of having a power nap I rather meditate. :0)
It has been only a wonderful experience especially learning from Will. He is a great teacher passing on his knowledge in a very subtle soft way not trying to convince anybody to believe something you don't want. And if you need support Jess is there all the time to help promptly.
Regular meditation evening sessions and meditation gatherings free of charge are a great way to get back in the zone in case you slip your meditation from time to time.
Now I can't wait for the coming meditation retreat.
