They quoted me 570£ for a job that on average costs around 300£. They tell you costs without VAT which is dishonest. The man on the phone told me more things were broken than actually were. Thinking I didnt know anything about the car. I got the job done for 130£ at kendal car center. I asked to look at the quote and there was lots of hidden costs for things that were not needed. And services that are usually done as part of the hourly rate. And when I said I do not want them to work on my car they would not let me tow it away then said I have to pay them 60£ to release my car even though they provided no service. Sort of like ransom money... I will never go to this garage ever again.
