I have not yet used the wood! I teach campers in the summertime. We do wood carving, relief carving and wood burning. I purchase wood all during the winter to be ready for the upcoming summer. So I can let you know after next summer. I will be using the wood for wood burning. I may try something on one to use as a sample. If I do so, I will let you know how it goes. Thanks. I am in a power wheelchair and am 81 years old. I was the camp director for 30 years and went to camp for over 50 years. So teaching campers is great for me to keep up with what is happening these days!
