To my surprise my last order consisting of graphic novels, which are considered collectibles, arrived damaged in a thin plastic envelope. I consider wordery as an alternative to amazon and bookdepository. The advantage of bookdepository over wordery is a superior selection of foreign language books and shipping in sturdy packages, while wordery's advantage is often price. Wordery used to ship in sturdy cardboard packages but now that thin plastic envelopes are used, I will need to weigh price advantage against the possibility of receiving damaged merchandise.
