I can't understand why a regular sized paperback novel of 300 pages requires an enormous cardboard envelope. Other retailers use packaging that will pass through a standard letter box, because Royal Mail have become increasing officious about what constitutes an acceptable sized package they don't even try to deliver. Instead they leave a card, and I then have to make an 18 mile round trip to their distribution centre to collect a package that with more thought, could have been received at home. However, I accept that not all of this is within your control, and from now on will order via eBay where click and collect is an option. If you could make click and collect an option via your own website I'd happily use that as my preferred delivery option.
