This is the last time I use this company, although cheap they are woefully bad at offering a competent level of service. I was told that my worktops would be delivered on a two man carrier service the next day (at a delivery cost of £50). At 1.00pm I called to find out an ETA to be told that they would get back to me. After 4 more calls I was told that the delivery vehicle could not find my address despite giving them my email address, phone number and a detailed description of the house! Why not call me? I called their transport office to be told that they did not have a complete mobile phone number and therefore were unable to get hold of me! So why did worktop express lie to me and say that they could not get through to me where infact they had externally contracted the delivery to Nightfreight and not given my full mobile number? Anyway it arrived the next morning when with a driver and no help. £50 delivery for me to offload it? Are they serious? They may be cheap but I think I will pay more to get a more relaible service next time! After complaining I was offered £25 refund off the delivery charge, to which I challenged they by definition this gesture was an admission of their failings and if they wanted to rectify the issue then either compensate the £50 or nothing at all. They remained firm with there offer to which I rejected and told them to keep their money! Stay well clear guys!!
